Following 25 long years of waiting, Hocus Pocus fans are now getting to learn about what happened to the movie's heroes after that fateful Halloween night when they lit the Black Flame Candle and revived the dastardly Sanderson Sisters. While rumors of a follow-up film have picked up steam in the last few decades, audiences will likely be surprised to learn that this sequel will be in the kind of a book, Hocus Pocus, and the All-New Sequel. The publication's cover along with an excerpt was shared with Oh My Disney, which you can learn more about this below.

"Soon after moving from California to Salem, Max Dennison finds himself in hot water when he accidentally releases a coven of witches in the afterlife. Max, his sister, and his new friends (human and otherwise) have to find a way to prevent the witches from bringing out their evil plan and staying on Earth to torment Salem for all eternity. Twenty-five years later, Max and Allison daughter, Poppy, finds herself face-to-face together with the Sanderson sisters in their glory that is sinister. When Halloween parties do not go as planned, it is a race against time as Poppy and her friends struggle to save her loved ones and most of Salem in the witches' newest death-defying scheme."

News started circulating that there was a sequel TV movie at the works, with some reports claiming that the project is a reboot, not a sequel last autumn. As every year goes by, interest in a follow-up adventure continues to grow.

"There have been talks of a Hocus Pocus sequel for the past ten years which doesn't die down," Mick Garris, author of the first movie, admitted to Forbes last year. "I've heard they are creating the script, I still have not been included in it, but for the sequel, it may be for Disney Channel or Freeform or ABC. I think it's going to be for tv, but I hear that it is moving ahead."

Garris crafted before being released in 1993, the script, which moved through the years through various revisions.

"Now it has become a yearly thing in the El Capitan on Hollywood Boulevard, and the show is marketed out," Garris pointed out. "I moved there last year, and one of the ushers actually recognized me and gave me a tour of the theater. Generation after generation, it's sort of remarkable and fantastic to have it adopted generation and to have something attracted to the screen like that. Everyone I meet, it is their wives or their own favorite film, and it is incredibly exciting."

Hocus Pocus and the All-New Sequel will be accessible on July 10. It is possible to pre-order it.
